Internship
Master's students in the student affairs emphasis complete an internship related to their area of career focus. Internships are available on the University campus and in other local higher education institutions. Detailed information on internship requirements can be found in the guide listed below.
Emery Vigil and Tom Hurtado (Asst. Director for Office of Student Leadership & Involvement)
at ASUU Office. Emery interned here during summer 2015.
She engaged in projects that focused on budgets and planning major campus events.
Kyle Inselman participated in an internship with Dr. Amy Bergerson, ELP Professor,
to build an extended internship program that occurred on August 17 & 18.
Here is Kyle leading an activity with the 2015 M.Ed. in Student Affairs cohort.
Alonso Reyna Rivarola spent summer 2015 interning in the TRIO Office.
Here he is consulting with Kyle Ethelbah, Director of TRIO, as he works on an assessment
project.
In addition to assessment activities, Alonso facilitated social justice training
for the Summer Bridge Program.
